As we say on the sparkhouse website, "sparkhouse was started with a simple mission: spark new life in Christian communities. We develop resources through imagination and collaboration to fulfill this mission — to create that spark." A key word in this sentence is "collaboration." I am very proud of my wonderfully creative and hardworking colleagues who make sparkhouse hum. But, I'm even more proud of the way that they actively search for the best and brightest collaborators across the Church and in the secular world to make certain that the resources we create for congregations are really different and uniquely effective in assisting people with growing in their faith. It is this willingness to identify and partner with first rate talent that has helped sparkhouse get off to such a great start!
One of those partners are our friends at
Tool Box Studios in San Antonio, who work closely with sparkhouse on the brand identity and creation of the dynamic faith formation resources. And, I was delighted to learn that they have done it again! For the
second year in a row, they have received recognition for their work on sparkhouse's
re:form youth curricula! This time, Tool Box Studios won the
"Best in Show" Addy award for their work on
re:form Ancestors. The Addy awards are given out annually for superb graphic design and advertising work. To see a sample of the award winning
re:form Ancestors video, go to the
wearesparkhouse YouTube channel.
Congratulations to our Tool Box friend Paul Soupiset and his colleagues for this recognition of their fine work. And, our thanks, too because their work helps our work in conveying Bible stories to youth through their creative style.
Blessings,
Beth
