Bet you didn’t know… the LACE Educator of the Year for 2011 is……

February 21st, 2012 by Beth A. Lewis
Our very own Bethany Stolle, senior developer for youth resources for sparkhouse!
We are, as you might imagine, delighted for this recognition of Bethany as she has just been selected as the Lutheran Association of Christian Educators "Educator of the Year!"

Bethany has led development on Augsburg Fortress and sparkhouse projects including Here We Stand Confirmation, Akaloo, ReNew: The Green VBS, re:form, and other curricula. Her passion is networking and collaborating with others to create resources that help young people grow as theologians and claim their faith. Bethany lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Brent, and is an active volunteer at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, mentoring a small group of middle school girls and working on efforts to reach out into the community.

In addition, Bethany is a frequent blogger, tweeter and user of other social media to connect with church leaders across the country.  Her most recent article was posted just today in the Immerse Journal.

Congratulations, Bethany!  We are very proud of you and the fine work you do that led to this well-deserved recognition.
