One Mission Blog - reflections on the ministry of publishing

Really annoying, but….out of our control

September 7th, 2011 by Beth A. Lewis

If you read this blog with any regularity, you'll know that I am a fan of finding ways to use technology to proclaim the Gospel.  I enjoy my iPad, I travel with a netbook or laptop everywhere, I've even been known to check emails while waiting for a traffice light to turn from red to green (yes, I know….it is slightly compulsive).

But, the one thing that all of these gadgets as well as our blogs, webstores and web-based subscription sites such as Spark On-Line, Sundaysandseasons.com, Herewestandconfirmation.org and Clayfire.org require is electricity.  And, due to some routine maintenance, these sites will all be unavailable for several hours beginning at around 3pm CDT on Sunday, September 11. We will try to keep this interruption to a minimum, and apologize for the inconvenience.

We worked with the folks taking care of this routine maintenance to select the timeblock with the least amount of traffic on our sties.  But, invariably, we know that it will inconvenience some people.  We apologize if that's you!

Thanks for your understanding!

Blessings,

Beth
