Good news travels fast from the Northeastern Iowa Synod assembly! They just voted almost unanimously to become a Book of Faith Synod! Thanks to Bishop Steve Ullestad, who I know is a strong advocate for the Book of Faith iniative and for Augsburg Fortress as the ministry of publishing for the ELCA. [...]

I just received an email from Bishop Jerry Mansholt of the Central States Synod affirming that they, too, voted overwhelmingly in their recent assembly to be a Book of Faith Synod! Good news! They’re adding up!
